Skip the store-bought chemicals and whip up your own potent hair tonic – amla oil! This vitamin C powerhouse is known to boost hair growth, prevent greying, and add shine. Here's how you can make the amla oil at home in a flash:

Ingredients to Prepare Amla Oil:

  • 1 cup organic amla powder (or 4-5 fresh amlas, sliced)
  • 1 cup carrier oil (coconut, almond, sesame – your choice)

Steps:

    1. Get some Fresh amlas and Sun-dry them for a week or use a dehydrator. Then grind into a fine powder.
    2. Heat the carrier oil gently in a pan (keep the heat low). Don't let it smoke.
    3. Add the amla powder to the carrier oil and stir well.
    4. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, and stirr occasionally.
    5. Strain the oil through a cheesecloth.
    6. Let the amla oil cool completely, then store in a dark glass bottle in a cool place.

Bonus: Add a few drops of rosemary or lavender essential oil for extra scalp-soothing goodness.

Tips:

  • Use the amla oil within 3 months for maximum potency.
  • Apply warm amla oil to your scalp and hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo as usual.
  • Repeat the above process 2-3 times a week for healthy and happy hair!

Go natural, go amla! Your hair will thank you.
